DriftLine Bug Bounty Program Terms

1. Program Overview

The DriftLine Bug Bounty Program ("Program") rewards users who discover and report software bugs, data inaccuracies, or other issues in the DriftLine application. This Program is a performance-based compensation arrangement for verified work product, not a sweepstakes, contest, or game of chance.

Rewards are issued at DriftLine's sole discretion based on the quality, severity, and impact of verified reports.

  1. Find a bug, data inaccuracy, or issue while using DriftLine.
  2. Report the issue through the in-app Bug Bounty submission form.
  3. Verification: The DriftLine team reviews your report.
  4. Reward: If verified, you may receive a gift card reward based on severity.

4. Severity Tiers

Minor UI glitches, cosmetic issues, typos $5 gift card
Functional Broken features, incorrect calculations $10 gift card
Top-Tier Crashes, regulation inaccuracies, boundary errors $15+ gift card

5. Regulation Accuracy Protection

Regulation inaccuracies are automatically classified as top-tier reports and receive priority escalation.

DriftLine displays fishing and hunting regulations that carry real safety and legal implications. This includes incorrect bag limits, season dates, regulation zones, emergency rules, and species-specific regulations.

DriftLine will not pursue legal action against participants who act in good faith, report through the designated process, and do not violate applicable laws.

This Program has no connection to app store ratings or reviews of any kind.

12. Privacy

Personal information is used only for report processing and reward fulfillment. Reports and personal data are not shared publicly.

13. Tax Responsibility

Participants are responsible for tax obligations arising from rewards. If cumulative rewards reach $600+ USD in a calendar year, DriftLine may require a W-9 and will issue a 1099-NEC as required by U.S. tax law.

14. Program Modifications

DriftLine reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue this Program at any time.
